With an EUIPO-registered design, the Jarl provides an alternative to modern traditional menswear - designed for an enhance sense of comfort, protection and confidence.

The inside panels create the appearance of two separate legs, maintaining a silhouette of wide traditional trousers.

Production

The production in Izmir is the result of a design process shaped through close collaborations with skilled tailors. Each iteration has been carefully refined with a focus on fit, function, and expression - where traditional craftsmanship meets a modern perspective. The final piece takes form in Kahshan’s bright and airy atelier, a space where precision and quality are at the core, and every detail is given the attention it deserves.

Material selection has been a central part of the development. The fabrics have been chosen with great care, with particular attention to their weight and composition to achieve the right balance between structure and movement. Linen brings natural breathability and lightness, cotton offers everyday comfort and durability, while wool adds depth, warmth, and a sense of weight and elegance.

Through this process, we set out to create the first Jarl - a piece that stands as a solid foundation for the future, both in form and philosophy.

Originally shaped by cinema and collaborative disciplines, the work is grounded in structure, intuition and long-form development.

Raised alongside a sister and three brothers, I am intrigued by our differences and similarities and how we, as men and women, have different guidelines and references when it comes to contributing to society. At the same time, each individual has their own talents and capacities, as well as needs and ideas. The simple observation that menswear today is remarkably more limiting than womenswear’s made me eager to discover new solutions adapted to today’s comfort, style and needs. A new type of garment, possible to adapt to each individual's style - like a pair of jeans.

Inspired by my three brothers, we start this collection with three jarls. Same design, but also completely different.

The jarl is constructed through dialogue and refined through precision and time.
